This model is known for its catalyst problems, the lamna sensor is usually the first part to go when this happens the cat gets soaked with fuel and causes it to become brittle until it eventually breaks up and blocks the exhaust solid - restricting the flow of gas and causes a severe loss of power and top  speed, usually restricts the car to a max speed of 30 - 50 mph. in this case the  cat and lamna sensor should be replaced together to avoid damaging the new catalyst.
