Range Rover V8 1992 onwards
A common problem with the Range Rover V8 is the series resister fitted on the end of the coil this should have a resistance of 4 - 6 Ohms. this resistor failing can caused non starting and rough running during warm up. They also suffer from voltage spikes back from the coil to the ECU this tends to blow the ECU and a repair is usually needed.
